Few words about me. Now there are two of us in a foreign country, two of us to share travel experiences and two different points of view. I am originally Polish, living and working in Poland, Russia, India, the UK, the Netherlands and have now moved with Alex to Australia. Most probably with this background I will have different opinions from Alex's, but I believe it will make this travel blog even more interesting.

Victoria Peak

Victoria Peak - feature photo

Victoria Peak is a mountain in Hong Kong. It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally as The Peak. I believe it is better known as the best location in the city to watch the amazing panorama of Hong Kong. Being 554 meters above sea level, Victoria Peak is the highest point within Hong Kong. Unfortunately we had to wait a while to have a chance to see anything as it was quite ‘floggy’ day, but after 2 hours and a nice visit to the Peak restaurant we finally also had a chance to experience that view!
