Sydney Dust Storm – Darling Harbour

Sydney Dust Storm – Darling Harbour - feature photo

Wow. This photo was taken at 0630 this morning whilst walking to the gym. At first I thought it was some unusual fog. It was only after leaving the gym and seeing people in dust masks and all the cars and streets in red dust that I realised it wasn’t. I went to have a coffee this afternoon, and just from the short walk there and back I can still taste the powder in my mouth.

There are some amazing photos over at the Sydney Morning Herald site of the bridge.

  1. There are reports of this on the BBC website here in the UK today along with some video.
