Sorry..it’s should be ‘Pulau’ not ‘Palau’.Pulau is a Malay wording which means Island.’Lang’means Eagle and ‘Kawi’is one of the eagle species.You can find Eagle monument near to the Kuah Jetty,welcomes visitors to Pulau Langkawi-Langkawi Island.
