I've flown on them before for many times and for the most part they are pretty good. The studioCX has lots of entertainment options, and as a passenger you also get an amenity kit (fairly basic) and a copy of the menu (which is nice). In the lavatory, they sometimes also have special Cathay Pacific combs which are wrapped in plastic for sanitation.

Food's okay for the most part, and there are many snacks. The seat has a "faux recline" where the bottom of the seat moves forward, and then the seat back cushion (as the back is completely hard and doesn't move) makes the angle and moves down a bit.

If you want to see some more photos and my experience on the new product you can see here:

Sounds great! I got a sweet Valentine's Day offer at Lufthansa for plane tickets to Milan, so I'll be in Venice as well, but in August. I keep dreaming about a 2 week trip to SE Asia (Singapore, Malaysia and especially Hong Kong), and then flying to Australia. That would be the ultimate trip for me.

I could probably handle the veeery long flight, but the price is still quite high. But I'm not giving up, so I better start saving! ;)

P.S. Where are you from, Alex?
